In other words, during the rest of the speech you will mainly be making eye contact with the audience. However, when you compliment the groom you need to turn your body to make eye contact with him.

3. Since you’re going to have a lot of emotions and nervousness on your wedding day it is important to calm your nerves before your speech. First of all, the bride should be aware that the bride speech is usually considered to be the easiest speech of the evening. Why? There is little room for creativity and subsequently little room for error.
