At most receptions, the Maid of Honor and the Best Man dance at least once together. If both of you have significant others who attend the ceremony and reception as your dates, simply explain that the dance is a tradition.

If tips are required for servers, busboys, disc jockeys, musicians or anyone else who provided services, the Best Man makes sure they’re paid at the end of the evening.

It is always easier to be up front about what you can responsibly handle paying for, and ask for help when you need it. If the couple drives away in their own car, it will be your responsibility to decorate the car with peel away “Just Married” decals or window/glass markers. Use decorations that won’t destroy the paint on the car or make the windows permanently blurred.
